Mailpiece Quality Control (MQC) Certification

Mailpiece Quality Control (MQC) is a study program for those companies who desire that their employees learn more about mailpiece design, proper addressing, bar-coding requirements, and other Postal Service regulations.

Why is MQC certification important? Mailpieces that are designed to comply with Postal Service guidelines can significantly reduce postage costs and enhance service. In addition, learning about automation will allow mailers to take advantage of postage discounts, which will further reduce mailing costs.

MQC Certified Specialists are recognized throughout the industry for their high level of proficiency in mailpiece design and adherence to Postal Service addressing requirements. OMG is proactive in providing its client recommendations for increased efficiency and USPS rate discounts. June 2008 – 95% of OMG’s Mail and Warehouse Clerks are MQC Certified.

OMG is excited to have been chosen by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to serve as one of few companies to participate as a beta test site for the on-line version of MQC testing.
